Homily: 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time


This weekend we hear the parable of the widow and the judge. The Gospel writer begins with a summation that the parable talks “about the necessity for them to pray always without becoming weary.” But if we left it just there, we would miss the secondary and deeper meaning behind the story.
