Homily: 4th Sunday of Easter

It seems the Pharisees keep asking Christ, “Who are you?!”  But they are unwilling to even listen because of their focus on the Temple and the laws of Leviticus. Instead, the followers of Christ know his voice and follow him.

Whose voice do you listen to?  What stops us from listening?  When do we even pause long enough to hear what is being said?  It takes wisdom from a Park Ranger from New Mexico in order to open up the message of today’s Gospel.

  1. Perfect interpretation for this Good Shepherd Sunday. Oh, to seek the quiet pastures and listen for the Shepherd's voice. Thank you from Molly and Joan in Rochester, NY on this lovely Sunday afternoon.
